What are your Covid-related cancellation policies?

     Cancellation in case of entry ban /accommodation ban

In the case of an entry ban or an accommodation ban, the cancellation is made by the host or the guest in written form. 

In the case of an entry or accommodation ban at the planned travel time, the service provision (i.e. rental) is impossible for the landlord.

Therefore, the landlord pays back 100% of the payments already made, regardless of whether the written cancellation was made by the host or the guest.

 

 

     Cancellation in case of illness, fear of corona and quarantine

If the host is able and allowed to provide the service (rental), but the guest cancels for personal reasons (including illness, fear of corona, required quarantine, increasing corona case numbers, etc.), the cancellation conditions of the General Terms and Conditions of the host will apply. 

Travel cancellation insurance is therefore recommended. 

 

 

Is WIFI available?

Yes, WIFI is available!

 

At what sea level are the chalets located?

-Both chalets are located at approximately 1663 m.

 

Can I expect any traffic noise?

-No. The next main street is about 500 m far away. Both chalets are located at the end of  a private access road.  

 

How far is the next ski lift?

-The next lift, Kehrkopflift, is about 500 m far away. From there you get easily to all other ski lifts in Obertauern. Leave your car where it is. Kehrkopflift can be easily reached by skis. 

 

Is there a sauna?

- There is a sauna in Chalet "Neuhofalm" only. 

 

Is there a separate games room?

- Yes, in chalet "Neuhofalm" there is a games room with dart, table tennis and table soccer. 

  

Do I have to do the heating manually?

No, there is a fully automated pellets central heating in both houses. In chalet "Neuhofalm" there is a fireplace and in chalet "Sennhütte" there is a tiled stove that can be used optionally in addition to the central heating. 

  

Are there enough parking slots?

- Yes, there is enough space to park several cars behind and in front of the chalets. 

 

Is there a flat-screen TV and Satellite connection available?

- Yes, both available, yet only one TV per house. 

 

Do the chalets have WIFI and cable TV?

-The connection for WIFI is just being built. WIFI and cable TV will both be available from October/November 2019.

 

How many people can stay in the chalets?

- The chalet "Neuhofalm" is equipped for 19 people, chalet "Sennhütte" is equipped for 10 guests. 

 

Is it possible to host a seminar or a training in the chalets?

-Yes, both chalets are suitable to host trainings. However, you might have to organize special material by yourself. 

 

How large are the common rooms?

-The common rooms are sized between 25 and 35  m².

 

How far is the next restaurant?

-The next restaurant is located in about 600 m. However, numerous restaurants are located in Obertauern, some also offer delivery service. 

 

Are any extra costs to be payed?

-Yes, energy costs will be counted extra. Moreover Obertauern city tax and final cleaning, which are both not included into the rent, will be charged. We also ask for a deposit payment, to cover possible damages.  

 

Do I have to bring bedsheets and towels?

- If you have booked in July 2018 or later, bedsheets and towels are included into the price.  

  

Is there a coffee machine?

Yes, a microwave, barbecue, water boiler, toaster and dishwasher are available too. 

 

How far is the next supermarket?

- The next supermarket is Spar, about 2 km away from the chalets. However, we recommend doing your main grocery shopping before arrival  in Radstadt where you'll find larger supermarkets. 

 

What else should I know?

The winter road clearance service is limited. We also recommend to bring snow chains in case of heavy snow fall.
